"Kill the virus, not the economy"

SIPRAMA KOMUNINDO, SOUTH TANGERANG - Bank Indonesia Representative Office of West Java held the Karya Kreatif Jawa Barat or Creative Work of West Java as part of the contribution to introduce and promote. Not only from the charm of its natural beauty, but also from the creative product from selected Micro, Small, and Media Enterprises (MSMEs) in West Java to support the increase in West Java Creative Economy exports.

KKJ 2020 brought tenun or weaving as one of the typical artworks from West Java, and carrying the theme of “Menuju Asa, Menuju UMKM Tangguh dan Juara” or “Towards Hope, Towards Resilient and Champion MSMEs” along with the tagline “Creative for Legacy”. In line with the adaptation of the new normal and passion of “Kill the virus, not the economy”, the KKJ 2020 was held virtually through its website of and live streaming through all social media platforms of the provincial government, Bank Indonesia, and National and Regional Craft Council.

This is in line with efforts to accelerate economic recovery by supporting MSMEs’ products without forget applying health protocol. The event was enlivened with workshops, fashion presentations, talk-show, fashion show competitions, and so on.
