Raising MSMEs through Pekan Kreatif Jawa Barat dan Karya Kreatif Jawa Barat 2021

SIPRAMA KOMUNINDO, SOUTH TANGERANG - Bank Indonesia Representative Office of West Java re-organized Pekan Kerajinan Jawa Barat and Karya Kreatif Jawa Barat (PKJ-KKJ) 2021 or West Java Craft Week and West Java Creative Works 2021 on 2 - 4 April 2021 by promoting cultural heritage and West Java as a creative province by rising a theme “Sinergi Mengembangkan Kreatifitas Menuju UKM Jabar Teratas” or “Synergy in Developing Creativity Towards Top West Java MSMEs” with tagline #UKMJabarPaten. The event was held on a hybrid basis, through live streaming on and bi_jabar Youtube Channel which is broadcast live from Trans Studio Mall Bandung.


The event was the result of collaboration from Bank Indonesia of West Java, Provincial Government of West Java, Regional National of West Java, Financial Services Authority of West Java, and banking. The event was attended by Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia, Luhut B. Panjaitan (virtually); Minister of Cooperatives and SMEs, Teten Masduki; and Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil. Besides, fashion designers, West Java MSME activists, and so on joined to enliven this event. 


To succeed Gerakan Nasional Bangga Buatan Indonesia (Gernas BBI) and Bangga Berwisata Indonesia or Proud National Movement Made in Indonesia and Proud of Traveling to Indonesia, PKJ-KKJ 2021 promoted superior products from West Java MSMEs also showing the charm of the beauty of West Java tourism. The event was held in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic so that each guest and all committee members must show the results of the Rapid Test Antigen before entering the room.
