"Batik Sandanane budoyo, Ngluhurke nuso lan Bongso"

SIPRAMA KOMUNINDO, SOUTH TANGERANG - Bank Indonesia Representative Office of Solo was held an annual event, which is Kenduren UMKM. Coincided on Kartini Day (21/4) few days ago, the event was carried a theme of “Kemilau Kartini: Kebangkitan Batik Masa Kini untuk Pemulihan Ekonomi” or “Kartini's sheen: The Revival of Modern Batik for Economic Recovery”. The event was a strategy of MSMEs development to have competitiveness and resilience thus becoming a new source of economic growth.

The morale of R.A Kartini that apply on “Habis Gelap, Terbitlah Terang” or “After rain comes sunshine” to raise the spirit of optimism after the pandemic of COVID-19. Kenduren UMKM was held virtually through live streaming on Youtube Channel Bank Indonesia KPw Solo, Zoom Meeting, and Official Account Instagram of @bank_indonesia_solo.

The event invited Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo; Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiago Uno; Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka; Head of Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Central Java Province, Pribadi Santoso; Chairman of the Indonesian Batik Foundation, Yanti Airlangga; and Head of Representative of Bank Indonesia Solo Nugroho Joko Prastowo. The event was hosted by Elizabeth Sudira as the Master of Ceremony. Waljinah and Guyon Waton also enlivened the Kenduren UMKM a few days ago.
